Default Shifter boot is loose, I think?

Can anyone tell howe the leather boot on their shifter is secured to the shifter. Mine seems to be loosed but I'm not sure if it used to be secured more tightly.

far71,

Given the way the shift boot is attached to the console assembly, it's hard to imagine how it would come loose. Check these shift boot installation instructions from our web site to see how the boot is attached. http://www.ricks2k.com/info/install.html

Maybe this will help.
