yeah, i've never really been a fan of 4 wheeling. but from the test videos that i saw not too long ago, it seemed like it was a worthy competitor to the jeep wrangler

i heard its a great off roader. not as good on pavement tho. i read an article comparing it with other vehicles. overall...the assesment was good. came in 3rd place out of 4 though. Great value tho...a large for a midsize SUV, great looks, and toyota reliability.
as for the quote about paying a premium...there shouldn't be a premium, as with the scions, they seem to have a no haggle pricing on toyotas. if the sticker says 25,000 i doubt they'd slap any dollars over that. toyota seems to pride itself on quantity. and if they want to be the number 1 selling automobile company in the world, they better not put any premiums on their products.
anyways, great looking truck, if u can pick one up, go for it.

toyota put premiums on vehicles that first come out and are high in demand like the prius. i know because i work there =) if they don't have a premium, they add after market parts to it like chrome rims or navigation and stuff like that.
anyone interested in a FJ just let me know =)

Anyone drive/own one yet? Thoughts?
I picked up a silver FJ about 2 weeks ago. Price being a factor, I think it's the best thing to come out in its category in the last few years. The thing is solid as a rock, and it gets the heads turning like the s2k did 6-7 years ago. The back seats aren't for people over 6', but the fronts are extremely roomy. My GF loves driving the thing as much as I do. Perfect complement to the s2k, IMO. BTW, I paid MSRP, not a penny more.

j, buy this thing, so i can buy it off you when you want to get rid of it.
the price per feature is unbeatable. i really want this thing, it is cheap enough for me to be able to keep my s2k and also have a snowboarding vehicle.
oh, btw. thanks for shipping that power cable.
