Default Homeowners....

Don't forget that your property tax is due today! It's gotta be postmarked today for both OC and LA counties. I just dropped mine off at the post office today. Those late fees aren't fun...

Thank you for this reminder. I did forget.
Glad to help! If you're really stuck you can also call in and do via credit card, but of course there's a service charge...

Paid mine too. Gotta wait for the last minute to pay it off just like everyone else not willing to part with their hard earned money.

was going to do this with my income taxes, but they wanted like 1.5% "convenience fee."

It was almost as much, or more as it would cost to just buy the points.

is paying property taxes via amex cheaper?

you're better off getting yourself a savings account at 5.5% and socking the same amount going into impound in there each month.

missing out on hundreds if not thousands of $ in interest using impound account
