so i was reading a previous post here and a handful of you guys down talked kaiser.

i have been with them for a year and i want to know why they suck.

also, what are you using instead?

i am self employed and these bastards keep raising their rates every f-ing year. like 30-40/month for the wife and i.

i think right now we are at $230/month for 2008 and last year was $190/month. is that crap normal?
i am 28 (feb 2) and the wife is also 28 soon to be 29 in june.

I used to use Kaiser and they never did anything for me when I went in. No test's except for the normal blood pressure and looking in my throat.

Then they would always prescribe antiniotics no matter what i went in there for.

I personally didn't like them that much and I know someone that work in riverside that says that she would never go there if she didn't work there, so that should tell you something.

The thing is with Kaiser is you either love them or you hate them type of thing. The problem with Kaiser that most people don't like is that they will ONLY use Kaiser doctors/specialist. Basically you can't have a out of network doctor or goto a doctor that isn't part of Kaiser. So if you want to get treatment from this specified doctor you can't. What people love about Kaiser is that they like a "one stop shop" medical facility. Have you seen there building they are friken huge and have doctors, specialist, pharmacist etc etc.

I worked for a company that does this stuff, PM and I can talk to some co-workers and they can provide you with a quote or something.

I like them... They've done a full reconstructive shoulder surgery on me and repaired my torn ACL... They were very good with their follow-up and I've never really had any problems with them...

Cost me around $30 too...

ive been to see a few doctors and they were very friendly and listened well.
so far, besides the crazy price increases, ive been happy with them

and they are getting more locations... wait!

that must be the reason for the price hikes!

i hurt my foot one time snowboarding went to urgent care. walking there on my hurt ankle. founded out urgent care was closed. i guess the evening service was in the other building on the other side. so i was walking around for a while till i founded out where it is.
prob a good hour till i founded it. there are really no workers to point u where to go.

So i founded urgent care evening service :-)
Now in urgent care sooooo here comes the long wait always typical in urgent care.
5 hour wait.

I was just pissed because i was walking around everywhere on a hurt ankle.
