I need an extra key for my '06 and of course I'm trying to save a buck. I've seen some decent looking non-OEM keys on ebay for around $25. One of the sellers links to this site to find someone to cut and program the key:

Does anyone have any experience doing this? Do the off brand keys generally work? Any recommendations for a place that can do the cut/program anywhere around LA/IE/OC?

I wouldn't go that route...I don't work at Honda anymore but can recommend someone. Just to let you know....you'll have to reprogram all the keys you have at the same time. So bring all the keys you have. Otherwise your keys at home will no longer work.
