So I took a trip to Phoenix this weekend to visit an old friend. We went out on Saturday afternoon for lunch and came out of the restaurant only to find that someone had used my car for ramming practice. They hit me with some considerable force and managed to basically crush the left front quarter panel just behind the wheel (Sorry, no pictures as I don't know how to post them). I was lucky that they didn't dent the wheel well too much and completely missed both the wheel and tire. After having a mechanic look at it, I was satisfied that my poor car was safe to drive, and headed back to OC yesterday. I'm very depressed.

The culprit took off and didn't leave a note. I can't believe that grown-a$$ people can be so irresponsible. Insurance will cover the damage repairs, but since I don't have the second party involved, I have to pay the deductable. That's serious BS, as I wasn't even in the car when it was hit. Apparently that's the way insurance works though.

Sorry for the rambling, but it helps to vent. If anyone can refer me to a good body and paint shop in or around the Huntington Beach area, I would really appreciate it.

Oh yeah, and don't go to Phoenix unless you really enjoy using your insurance provided rental car.

Sorry to hear about your situation.
I don't know a good shop in your area but I know one in Lake Forest ... 30min to 45min south. (depending on traffic) It might be too far from you but thought I let you know about them cause they do good work.

I know these guys through OC cars (who use them) & I refer all my customers to them too. Make sure to Ask for Bruce ... he's more helpful whenever I call. They're a little more pricy & may take longer but they do good quality work.

Thanks for the help guys. I'm checking them out right now. Lake Forest actually isn't that bad. I work in Aliso Viejo, so I am actually down here a lot. I suppose if anyone knows of any other shops in the Lake Forest area or anywhere between Lake Forest and HB, that would be cool too.

I own a shop in Lake Forest that does reg. repairs/services & performance work on Japanese cars only. I wish we did body work too cause I've had many customer that needed body work done. So far the work that Quigley's done for our customers have been great. I would say, they are the best body shop in this area as far as quality goes. You could tell'm Corner3 Garage sent you.
