Default Recommended windshield replacement

Anybody know a good guy/shop that does auto glass? I need a new windshield this week. I'm in Long Beach.

Thanks,
Albert

I've heard good things about International Auto Glass in Long Beach, although I haven't used them myself

Here's an easy solution. Go to All Star Glass's website. They are the ones AAA recommends and they do have American made class (by US divisions of OE Japanese companies). For the S2k, they may also have Japanese made glass. I recently had to replace the windshield on my late model Ody and it was under #300 installed at my work location with the glass I chose (they had 3 different window mfgs available for my Ody and I told them which one I wanted - all were the same price). These guys are pros and are careful with your car. I just priced the S2k on their website and it was $242 at your location in Long Beach. If you are an AAA member, you probably get an additional discount. Just check the latest Westways magazine or ask All Star. There is a lot of Chinese glass out there and the quality may have improved but there is no need to go to Safelite (more expensive earlier this year when I needed the windshield and Chinese glass to boot) when you can get an American made product.

You may be able to safe a few $$ if you go elsewhere but, IMO, I would use All Star for my S2K. I would suggest that you go look at your windshield to see what mfg made it and then call and get the brands and county of origin for each. Then, use Google to figure which may be the best for you.

Good luck!
