ohhhh Not 100% sure what part of LA was he talking about but i am located in what is consider a bad area (South Central LA) Had my S for a bit over 2 years and thank God nothing has ever happen. Not sure if this helps.

I don't know how one would go about finding statistics on theft by vehicle type in a specific area. But you can at least look up your prospective neighborhood and see what kinds of crimes are most common there.

It can actually be a little disturbing at times. I looked up my mother's neighborhood and found out she has a registered sex offender living on her street. YIKES!

Sorry, yes West Hollywood and I meant was do you hear a lot of S2K's getting stolen or broken into for seat, radios, etc.
