Default s2k cluster fitment.

I searched and couldn't find an answer to what year clusters are compatible. I'm pretty sure that the 00-03 have a different harness to 04-05. I just bought a 06 cluster and was wondering if it will be plug and play for my 04. If someone can clear the cluster compatibility questions... this would be of great help. My 04 cluster gas gauge wacks out sometimes when i top it off and goes from FULL to EMPTY like it's a A/F gauge sometimes.

Thanks!

Got a 06 cluster and put it in my 04 and it works perfect!!! Going to get my 04 cluster fixed soon by my nerdy electrical engineer friend hopefully.

00-03 = Compatible
00-07 = Compatible

i would check to see if the fuel level sender is working correctly before swapping gauges.

I'm curious if they will work cause i want a outside temp gauge!

Anybody know if the 04-05 have the temp gauge already in the car and it just wasnt hooked up (find this hard to believe)

or does anyone know where the 06+ temp sensor is and if it can be added to the 04's?

THANKS

Okay... well... nobody was able to answer my question but I received my 06 cluster yesterday and installed it in my 04. After researching about ODO resetting and communicating with the new cluster, I got a bit worried but it worked perfectly without any problems.

So... 00-03 = Compatible
04-07 = Compatible

how do i get the outside temp reader to work? do i need to buy a sensor and hook it up? this would be a nice added feature.
