I will join somewhere. If you're heading up to Casitas, I can meet you all in Carpenteria. If you're not, I will met you all in Camarillo and head into the mountains. Will 11:30 at Carpenteria or 12:00 in Camarillo sound good? What will the lunch plan be for Sunday? How about picking up fast food and eating at the beach?

Clive,

The detour for the drive back sounds like a lot of fun.

So, where are we all going to meet up to drive up there?? Anyone want to suggest a location??

meeting in the Tunnel could be hazardous to our health Are there any lots along PCH that you don't have to pay to get into?

I don't know of any beach areas that have free parking in Santa Monica. You L.A. guys might want to drive up as far as Malibu on PCH and meet there. There's a shopping center with a largish car park, behind a (Chevron?) gas station. It's on the right-hand side, just after the road curves to the right. There's a long straight stretch of PCH just before it, with a McDonalds and Shell gas station (on the right) just before the road curves left, then right. (The only other place you might want to meet is on the main road on top of the cliff at Santa Monica - but I'm not sure how to get up there from PCH. It's just after the tunnel exit)

We could just meet in West L.A. and hop on the 10 together...

Who is joining the caravan along the way, and where? I know there are a couple of people between here and Solvang.

Dinnyin: There's s2k_redhead and myself, in Camarillo. If you go up PCH, then turn off at Las Posas to the 101, we could meet up with you at the Las Posas onramp to the 101 north (same place where we met the group going up to Laguna Seca).
