FYI-

The hotel is the:

Inns of California-Solvang
1450 Mission Drive, Solvang, CA 93463
(805) 688-3210

You have to bring a credit card to put your room on, that day. You don't have to call to arrange payment beforehand. Only thing is, if you cancel AFTER TUESDAY 4/23 I'm out $85 bux, so I'd appreciate it if you didn't do that .

I have 11 rooms reserved. They'll do the best they can to get everyone into their choice of queen vs. twins.

I think we still need to get one more person to make the minimum for the bus, so we don't have to pay extra...

As far as the drive back, it looks like it starts in Camarillo at noon. That means we'd have to leave Solvang at around 10:30am, does that work for everyone?

Lets make the meeting place at the Target / Petsmart parking lot in Camarillo. Take the Las Posas exit and turn right from the Southbound 101. It's on the right side, can't miss it. I will try to drum up some interest in a Sunday Only drive.

Ok, final hotel roster. If this is wrong, please, please, please tell me by Tuesday. I'm poor and can't afford to pay for unused rooms.

Room 1: Dinnyin +1
Room 2: Kidwhiz +1
Room 3: themeloman +1
Room 4: s2k_redhead +1
Room 5: wanabe +1
Room 6: 1Y2KS2K
Room 7: Oscar Dufau +1
Room 8: Mingster +1
Room 9: John M
Room 10: EMPTY
Room 11: EMPTY (does someone need this room? Let me know by Tues.)

I found one more person to go (bringing the total to 20, yay!), but his porsche is sick, so he'd need a ride. Anyone taking 2 cars or have an empty seat?

I may have some interest from 3-4 friends of mine in the SB area to join us on the bus. I should know more today or tomorrow at the latest. If we go over the 20-person minimum, does that get us any discounts on the $65 per head?

And BTW - it's the Target/Petco (not Petsmart) parking lot in Camarillo (S2WOOOW must not have pets).

Hehe, no, it's still $65/head. I had to agree to a minimum of 20 people to get us that price. It would still be great to have more people, though, as the bus holds like 35.

I think we're meeting in the W. LA/Santa Monica area for everyone South or East of there. Does anyone need us to "pick them up" along the way? If so, where should the caravan stop to get you? You should probably PM me with a phone number so we can keep you up to date on where we are and when we'll be at your pick up.

Ok, since no one has made further comment on the meeting place, I'm just going to pick it.

Everyone not on the way to Solvang from LA (i.e., s2k_redhead):

We're meeting at 8:00am at the Coffee Bean on Pico at Westwood Blvd., accross from the Westside Pavillion. Here's the map link:
http://maps.yahoo.com/py/maps.py?Pyt=Typ&a...t=&mag=10&desc=(310)+441-5918&cs=9&newmag=8&poititle=&poi=&ds=n

(wow, that's a long link)

We need to leave shortly therafter. We hope to make a stop in Camarillo at around 9:30am to pick up s2k_redhead, and then go on to get into solvang aroung 11am.

s2k_rehead is the only person that has indicated they need picking up along the way, is there anyone else?
