Default Tire Hitch and Tire Tail?

Hey all,

I'm in desperate need of some guidance here.
I've been looking for a way to haul my wheels on long trips to distant tracks and think the tire tail is the best solution.

Trouble is i can't seem to find a retailer that i can just click and buy from.
Anyone got any leads on used ones or places that can sell me a new one?
If worse comes to worst i can pay someone to fabricate one for me, but who?

Any and all advice is GREATLY appreciated!
Thanks in advance...

Check with the Track forum. Most what out there are custom made trailers to fit the track accessories and needs.

Hitches you only have two options Chase race, you mount a couple brackets and it clips to that. caution it does hang down.
I have a AP2 with two bolted to the frame and four bolted to the tire tub. if you have to much tung weight and sloppy install
you will develop stress cracks that could break through the tire tub

Good luck with this... I would just go to a fabrication shop and have them make one for you

i was about to buy a chase race hitch and rack but then i saw a guy at the track this weekend with a nice setup. he put on the trailer hitch and bough a small trailer from lowes. The trailer is about 4' x 3' and he fit 4 wheels and tires, a large work box and his jack and stands. ill be going with that route

that and the trailer was only 400 bucks

If one goes with a trailer, is the max he/she can do 65mph on the freeway? Not because of the speed limit, but the maximum speed the trailer can travel at.

well the max limit of 55 for the freeway with a trailer is like saying you cant drive over 65 on the freeway even without a trailer because its the law. But i get where youre coming from

On another note i love that trailer hitch setup posted by irv_usc. Thats this weekends new project
