^ correct.

*** It does SEEM it is the TCT. Typically the TCT gets louder IN MY EXPERIENCE when:

-At idle or at very low rpm, low throttle input (= lower oil pressure which drives the TCT)
-In need of an oil change (oil viscosity becomes lower thus creating slightly less back pressure to the worm gear)
-Hot ambient temps (heat thins oil)
-After running the car a while (thins oil)
-After running the car a while then shutting down, then starting it back up and letting it idle <1min. (oil sits and cooks rather then going through the radiator)

Done mine 2 times already. Looks like lack of back pressure on the worm gear is the main cause of the issue. Probably the thread pitch should have been changed, but for now cleaning up the threads helps.

oil change helps a little for 1000 miles or so, but either replace it or just pull it out and sandblast the worm gear lightly then reinstall. Changing from Mobil 1 (if your running that) to AMS-oil helps too, I believe it holds up better to the high temps. I BELIEVE installing a oil-cooler would make a difference, I plan to do this as my oil temp is most def. too high.

BE SURE TO READ UP ON THE PINNING PROCESS.

Sandblast the worm gear.

You don't have to pin the TCT, just keep the bolt in when installing.

Changed mine a dozen times.

You may not be having a TCT problem. The TCT problem does not generate noise from the TCT. It's clearly from the front of the motor but it's hard to isolate. If it is a TCT then the noise should go away under high load.

The VTEC solenoid is not critical, if that is the problem. To be safe don't drive above 6k RPMs and don't floor it until you get it checked out.

I dont believe it is TCT because the sound is on and off. I can drive the car for hours sand the sound is still there when I get home. It goes on and off at idle without giving any gas at all. The sound doesnt change when I give it gas.

So basicly the rev doesnt change the sound.

No Engine light.

I posted a clip before.

This is what it sounds like.
