Default Where to buyoil for my service in West LA?

Hey people, my car has told me it is at 15% oil life, and i want to put the correct oil in, can anyone reccomend wheer i can buy some? Also, is theer anything i should request to be checked by the dealer?

pep boys, or pretty much any store that sells motor oil. if you want to save a few pennies get it from costco.

DUDE I'll let you in on a secret... don't tell the others here... Walmart has 5 Qts big bottles of 10w30 Mobil1 for 21 dollars (w/o tax).

Those oil life meters seem pretty nifty. How accurate are they?

I have no idea, is there a way to test it via looking at the dipstick? It says i have 15%, and i am at 4300 miles.

I THOUght the oil life meter is just a timer. and it needs to be reset when you change the oil, it doesn't actually let you know if there is low oil or not. that is what i gather from reading other threads about it. kind of like a new improved maintenance req'd light.

and damn, that is a good deal at walmart, too bad there are no damn wallmarts around west LA that i know of.
