The mapping switch makes sense to me if you get caught in the rain or other low traction situation.

So you would rather have map switch over traction control? Well, WHY? nevermind, dont care....

Same link above has PC equivalent boxes / software / and switches for diff maps.

The point of the map switch for me isn't due to any limits of traction, rather to help eliminate/decrease the instant on/off feel of the throttle when stuck in stop-and-go traffic. In PA and DE it is not legal to lane split, so I'm stuck like all the cars. It's not really a problem if you use the clutch to bleed power on and off, but if I can make it smoother for keeping the 5-10mph movement going, then it would be a nice benefit to not have to use the clutch. Especially if it's built in from factory.

Oh, didn't know you were offering traction control! Last I heard only BMW had an actual traction module option (works in turns) on some of their bikes.

Suzuki S-DMS

Debuted on 'busas, then to GSX-R 1000s, then to 750s too and now even the 600s have it.

Suzuki Drive Mode Selector (S-DMS), a technology introduced on the GSX-R line of motorcycles, provides three options of power delivery for a range of touring to wide open high performance.
