I am not going to rush to buy the newbies until I see how they fair directly against each other. ie. 911 turbo v R8 or M3 v GT-R.

I hope the pressure is turned up on Porsche to offer more for less. I know they make great cars, but Cayman S = Z06 price (almost).

on the above price note, the R8 is making the Porsche look good in comparison ie. R8 ($120K base) v 911 C4S (less than $90K). So if Porsche uncorks some more power and holds steady on price a bit it's going to be more easy to justify.

Another point, I was going to buy the new Z when it first came out but instead got an established car (S2000 that had been around a while with less new car bugs).

Now if Honda will just make me a V4 CBR or all new VFR I'd be in Heaven.
Have you heard the latest rumour that they ARE working on a new family of V4 engines?

www.motorcycledaily.com had a brief story on it.

I co-worker of mine has a Magna with the V4 motor - very strong bike for its displacement. Capable of mid-11s 1/4 mile (and it's ten years old)!

I believe the supra was supposed to make a debut also in the states. I think it's not going to happen now.
What happened to the Supra?

The Supra "became" the Lexus LF-A. If you read the old articles on it, the tech specs are similar (mid engined V8/10 under Lexus name).

Yea it was gassing up but it was covered. The shot was from behind right?
Unless I'm imagining things, there were two shots and the car was uncovered. Kinda reminded me of an old Civic coupe. Better looking the hatch, IMO.

I'll try and find it. I browse too many car websites.
