Hopefully these new model cars won't have gained too many pounds...

Every years cars are getting heavier, duller, more ''refined''...

Have you heard the latest rumour that they ARE working on a new family of V4 engines?

www.motorcycledaily.com had a brief story on it.

I co-worker of mine has a Magna with the V4 motor - very strong bike for its displacement. Capable of mid-11s 1/4 mile (and it's ten years old)!
Rumors have been there for a V5 for years now since the intro of the RC211V so I don't believe any of it.

Motorcycle Daily doesn't know better than anyone else. He is reaching, bigtime.

Most of the literbikes are in the high 9 to low ten second range now.

But the VFR800 is long in the tooth and 11.3 in the 1/4, last time I saw a measurement...

Of all the cars listed, I probably like the R8 best, but it's out of my price range at ~ $130K.

Realisticlly a M3 or GT-R or Vette or Cayman S (all about half the cost or less) would be my likely next step.

I'm excited about the Vette and GT-R

the Vette is unusual because it is getting major updates through a model design. Not common...

GT-R is what Nissan's best can do, let us see what the hype is about

I've seen a brick red A5 a few times on Malibu Canyon. It looks really good in person too.
