i have a decent amount of equity in my truck, so thought maybe step up to the newest one and try to keep the payment near the same.
ehh, gonna hold out a bit more and see what kinda aftermarket support the new one gets.

They look like a ton of fun. I'm just not willing to pay the gas mileage penalty.

if they were not sooooo expensive..... they can tow now, which is a big plus.... the older SRT8's couldn't tow much if anything (after moving the exhaust out of the way)......i have a trailblazer SS which tows my 7k trailer fairly easily, does a 14 flat qtr all stock but it only cost $32k brand new after negotiations...(sticker was $39,500)..... to pay double that for a jeep that does the same shit but is a little quicker is hard to want to do....
the new jeep is a good bit heavier than your version... i think that is pretty much why in the qtr mile they are about even... new one looks very nice... not $65k nice though..

its sad. my jeep cant tow for shit. i have a hideaway hitch to put my bike carrier on. i had to borrow a friends kia sorrento to tow my s2k.
that being said, i did look at the trailblazer ss, but i wanted to run 12's ;p i bought used though, i might just wait until these are a year old, or until they shove the new auto trans in these things. i think i read they are looking into putting a 6-8speed unit in them to replace the 5A.
oh well, gonna hold out, cause ill be damned if i am gonna spend 65k on that thing. 55 new and loaded, maybe, MAYBE.
