Default 3rd gen rx-7 help and info

I am looking at buying a 3rd gen to go with the S2k. The S2k will be my daily and the Rx-7 my project/race car. It has 30k on rebuilt rotary, all boost hoses replaced with silicon hoses, new R1 transmission, full 3 inch exhaust with pre-cat gone, but cat still in place..makes about 12 psi instead of stock 10. It has a boost guage and does 12-9-12 about....it was hard to tell..as I was watching the road!!

Anyone else on here own both cars? What has been your experience? What would recommend next for mods. Oh, he is selling the car for $14.5k...how is that for price? it is a 1993.

the price is ok, but if I was gonna get a 3rd gen rex I would want to rebuild it from scratch so I know what has been done with what. If the car checks out good then go for it.

I have a 93 and an 2001' S2K

as you can see I love the silver and black combo.

I'm selling mine for 15k, it has 90,000 miles on it, but 500 miles on the engine. I just had it rebuilt with 3MM apex seals and the motor is also street ported. here's a list of the mods i've just added to it..

Pettit Racing ecu
3" downpipe
3" midpipe
3" S/S blitz exhaust
ACT 6 puck Springless clutch
ACT heavy duty pressure plate
greddy blow off valve
Front mount intercooler
Blitz dual turbo timer
T/T Supra fuel pump
H&R lowering springs
SSR 18" wheels
18x9 235/40/18 front
18X10 285/35/18 rear

Its a touring model with black leather seats and sunroof
Here's a more recent pic

I havent taken it to the dyno yet because the motor is still in the process of being broken in, so its just at 5PSI now. After its broken in then the boost will go up to 12psi.
