Default help on selling price of used s2k...

hi, im currently looking around to buy a used s2k (preferably MY01+) because well... i cant afford a new one.

and ive been looking around at the asking price of private sellers and dealearships, and they range from 18k to as high as 30k. thats just totally confused me, ive even looked at edmunds, kbb, and they stlil differ alot. can ppl tell me how much they bought their used s2k for... or gimme a pricing range for a clean MY01 s2k with about 18k miles?

thanks..

Nada, Kelly Blue Book, and Edmunds may give different prices, but I think they'll give you a good idea of what prices to expect.

I'm sure you'll find out that the prices people paid for their car on here will vary too, depending on when and where they bought itbut if you're patient and look around carefully, I'm sure you'll find the car you want at the price you can afford.

Quanfer,

18K sounds low enough to assume something is wrong, possibly in an accident or some other issue. I paid 26.5 a couple of months ago for a MY02 with extras, and the Honda 7 year - 100,000 mile warranty. It had 11,000 miles on it, and is perfect. Just don't settle on the first one you see, look around and find the right car for the right deal.

Right around $23k sounds right. Check Ebay and Autotrader for prices...

I paid 24 even for an 01 with the hardtop and only 6400 miles.

NADA seems to be the most accurate judge. I paid $21k for an 00 with 30k miles. You should be spending around $23-24k for a 01 with that amount of miles.

quanfer,

I paid $27k for my '02 with 19k miles in August of last year.

Btw, what price range are you looking at? I'd consider selling mine...I want to free up some cash and/or get something I can take up to Tahoe in the winter. It's a sebring silver '02 model, all stock, 46k miles (semi-high since it's my daily driver). PM me if you might be interested.
