Acura could have offered a stripped version without the extra features and slick cabin touches, but that is more of what the CR-V is for IMO. (The CR-V also being a good buy, but having less power.) Sometimes I think you do get what you pay for.

They DO have a stripped model. That's what I have. The "tech package" added about $4k IIRC, which I didn't get. The next step down from what I have would be a nicely loaded CR-V. Paid just under $32k, which I think is reasonable. A loaded CR-V would be in the high $20's.
