from what i hear though the transplant is not all that much heavier than the stock rotary.... so i figured i could get this thing aligned and hopefully slightly strip it and use it at the track for some road course type fun.....

not sure what kind of hp it makes, but i hope over 300 with over 300lb ft of torque.
Maybe so, but that's more weight that sits much higher and further from the axle. Handling will definitely be affected. For the strip it's probably fine, but you'll feel it on a road course.

I'm not sure what motor has been stuck in there but those that have done LS1 swaps into that model year of RX7 have said that the LS1 motor was actually lighter than the stock rotary engine.

Yes a ls1 FD is actualy slightly lighter then the 13b rotatry motor, mainly because all of the vaume lines the accompany the rotary. I love v8 sevens i say go for it

haah... I had problems with my new truck and trailer brakes..... so i postponed the trip.

For some reason my 2006 F250 wouldn't recognize the trailer being hooked up to it, so i figured 6500lbs with no brakes wouldn't be so smart.....

I told him to try to sell it to someone else for now but if he doesn't I will attempt to get down there sometime in the next week or so....
