Vipers have tenacious lateral grip. I've found I cannot take the same curves in the S2000 as fast as I could in my Viper. I believe the lateral g's on a Viper is a couple points higher than an S. However, the Viper is a much bigger car, it's not 50/50 balanced so, as already said, it's NOT as tossable. The bulk and size of this car gives it a distinct disadvantage in a tight closed circuit like an Auto-X. The S is far easier to change directions suddenly. But don't try to follow a Viper into a high speed sweeper or curve at the same speed in an S. You may find yourself losing it while the Viper just continues on.
