I do. I was on the track yesterday, and I took a turn in too low of a gear and was near the rev limiter RIGHT at the apex. If I had been in an auto car it would have shifted, and I would have spun. As it was I was able to back, ever so slightly, out of the throttle to hold my speed constand without upseting the balance of the car and shift on the other side of the turn.

Auto, SMG, Tiptronic, autostick it's ALL crap.
Percisely - with an auto, you have three choices. Brake, Gas, or downshift by flooring the gas or "steptronic". No heel and toe, no engine braking, in fact, it's hard to even coast to slow down without touching the brake on short distances. It's efficient, but not very engaging or a whole lot of fun.

I can't wait for MT's to become obsolete. It just means I'll be able to buy one of those "relic" sports cars, and get it cheaper cause no one will want to drive a manual anymore.
