AWD Vette
Interesting and damn sure expensive. It sucks that the main reason he did it was because the drag strip has a lousy surface. And there was a lot of rust on the powertrain
(I guess due to it being and older car)

I've always wanted to drive a high powered, NA AWD sports car. I wonder what this would drive like.
Someone build me an LS7-powered evo8.

I'll probably be the only R32 there.

Without any power increase, an AWD Vette should improve handling, but the added weight and friction would hurt the almighty acceleration numbers that Vette fans seem to value above everything else (not to mention the prohibitive costs involved). Don't see much of a future in that.
I'd rather buy a slightly-used (or modded) AWD Porsche.

Did you READ the link? It's not a prod 'Vette. It's a 1973 chopped up with a Typhoon shoved underneath, a fully build 383 with a turbo on it.
Now a production corvette with AWD would be SWEET. I'd rock one of those.
