BMW 135i Convertible
For all of you saying that the 135i is not worth the price tag, I agree with you. The only reason I agree with you is because you have not driven the 135i yet. Once you take one for a spin you will be saying, "Damn, only $40k for this thing!".
The 335i is nice but the driving experience in the 1 is on another level. You will not understand what I am talking about until you drive the 1.
BTW- I am one of those that sees the smaller dimensions as a huge plus

How much of an increase are we talking here? Like 500-1000? or something disproportionately astronomical (which wouldn't surprise me).
If you can spend that much on a car 500-1000 isn't a deal breaker to me, I don't see that being too much of an issue.

I think I'm going to have to test drive one of these suckers.
You will not be disappointed
If you have driven the 335i with the paddle shifters you know that they are pretty good but not great. When you drive the 135i with the paddle shifters it is a totally different feel even though the engine and tranny are the same. Because of the weight difference the 135i snaps through the gears much quicker
Of course the 6-speed manual is better but the auto is great too

Exactly!!!
They wont understand until they do. The 3 is definitely prettier. But if I wanted a pretty car, I'd buy an A5 or something. I want to DRIVE.
