Absurd. I hate reading these sorts of stories. Such a horrible situation for the car owner.

LOL!!!! How does the dealership even have a foot to stand on after wrecking this guys car? $30k in damages and they only offer him $2500 bucks? Fail.

$30K in front end damage? Something doesn't add up in that respect, although.... It's a BMW, furthermore an M5 so I guess it's possible?
I don't know when the last time you had an accident, and hopefully never do, but $27000 on an M5 is easily done. Hell, look at this....

Lady ran a stop sign, and hit me at 30mph...

Repainted fender, rocker, replaced door, glass, regulator, and a few other MINOR things.....$10,000.

I hope this goes well for him and ya germab cars are expensive to repair. My cousins 09 TT was back ended by an SUV, no frame damage and air bags didnt deploy either, even tailights were fine. Cost? 16k!!!!!!!!!!

Ouch and I agree, I don't currently own a BMW because I only have one dealership locally (Tom Bush BMW) and they're jackasses. The highpoint of my relationship with my local dealer was when I was standing outside waiting on the tech/courier to bring my car around from the back and he bounced it off of the rev limiter in the parking lot...our relationship went down hill from there. My TSX doesn't offer anywhere near what the M3 did but I don't have to deal with assholes now.
