Ford is getting rather serious with their Pony car. Its about time for gives us a respectable Mustang. They had a serious slump from 1974 to 2010.

I love the design direction Ford is going. They still don't have a car that I will buy, but they're not far off. If they gave us a new Focus and an SVT version, I would be on board.

Unbefreakingleavable if you actually read the info they put out. They even raised the redline from 7,000 to 7500. Ford is freakin FURIOUS.

dude, if it is actually faster around laguna seca than an M3, I will be not only impressed but simply blown away.

For years, people have been able to justify buying cars like M3s even though they may be slower in a straight line because they are so fast around a track...but dude if it is faster on a track than an M3...well, then BMW is going to step up their game and we'll all win.

+1.

I wholeheartedly want it to put the stank on the M3.

It would say a lot given the fact I can think of 4 Premium offerings that cannot.

BOSS.

those rims look stupid. BUT, the car itself is awesome, the functionality of it I mean.

Sounds like my next car! But... price? No good if it costs as much as a C6 Z06.

I'm not a HP/L person but I have to say 88hp/L out of a motor related to the engine in an F150 is really good*. I wounder how much this thing weighs and how big it is compared to the LS3. One of the things I have liked about the recent Mustang V8s is the high level of refinement. They haven't felt as powerful as the GM V8s but they were BMW refined. I would love to have that motor in a nice RWD sedan that's a bit smaller than the G8. I wounder how hard it would be to transplant that motor into a last gen 3 series...

* (the new motor will see truck duty in different trim)

sweet sounding car. I'm sure I'll see one at a future track weekend. Ford is really impressing me lately.
