They are definitely, as a company, doing better than the rest of the big 3 in my eyes.

In defense of both GM and Chrysler on the motor front, the LS and HEMI motors have been outclassing the Ford V8s for over a decade and nearly a decade respectively. Ford really does seem to be on a roll but motor wise they are only now catching up with the cross town V8s.

I agree that they are out-motoring Ford, but I think that Ford is out-carring?? them.

With the exception of the Corvette, I'd probably take the Ford equivalent of whatever over the Chrysler or Chevy.

Very nice. I like this better than the GT500 - lighter, better weight distribution, normally aspirated, less susceptible to heat soak.

Pricing is very key for this guy to be successful. If it costs close to what an M3 costs I doubt it will do well at all. Hopefully it'll be considerably less.

I'll still take the M3.

Wow, the thing that impresses me most is the stuff Ford didn't include.

Really tacky graphics. The graphics they used are in keeping with the history of the car but something an adult could drive without embarrassment.

Really tacky plastic exterior. The front air dam and rear lip spoiler aren't over the top. No window louvers. No fake brake cooling ducts. No fake hood scoop.

Kudos to Ford for finally making an adult pony car.
