-> This comparo is totally pointless, the IS F should be compared with the RS4, E59 M3, and the C63 AMG. Not the S2000 in which its competes the 350Z, Z4 3.0L, SLK 350, TT-S, and the Boxter S.

OT-> And Luckyaze is right, the Fit S can pass any car @ 60 mph. =wahoo=

Ok got it. It doesn't sound like a good idea to post this review in this forum. I wonder what would happen if I post this on clublexus

My intent was to share an objective review of these two cars beyond a dealership test drive or paper spec to help new buyers or owners to make better purchase/upgrade decisions.

I was hoping to see more useful discussion about these two cars using the S as a reference point since I'm assuming most of us know enough about the S. It's disappointing to see repeated comments that bash my post. Those posts were uncalled for and offered no useful information.

That said, thanks for the few of you who posted some info which I found useful e.g. pedalfaster, vanishing boy, etc.

It's a new car, that part I agree. What new technology did Honda put in there that's better than the S? I could be wrong but I couldn't think of anything major. It's almost a port of S2k's refinements to the Civic platform.

For the S, what I think it representative of Honda's excellence in technology is the F20C, frame and unique chassis design. And I'm definitely looking forward to see what they will put in the next gen NSX or whatever they ended up calling it in the future.
