very nice. but the original argument was in regards to lap times, not skidpads and slalom cones.

that info has the VR-4 with the best slalom time. does that info alone lead you to conclude that the VR-4 would outduel the 911 at Laguna Seca? I would say no.


actually, now that I re-read, it does mention something about lap times in the rx-7 blurb. did they actually run on a course in that test?

 

No, they pulled times from a road course out of a hat in a random order.

 

Couple of thoughts:

1. What track is that- 1:09 - that is one short track. I would luv to see what a miata would do on that one.
2. btw, do you notice that the RX7 was faster than the 911 Turbo also

 

Yeah the RX-7 kicks ass, one of my all time favorite cars. Too bad they are such a pain in the ass to own and drive.

 

my mistake. Looking at it again, I'm not quite sure how I missed it.

 

its a g-meter showing left/right g's as well as g's during acceleration and braking throughout the course.
