Great post Nik

You should post your video of the whole drive as well! Let me know when we can get together for that photoshoot.

I have had the pleasure of riding in the Atom on the track, and WOW. The effortless acceleration is unreal. Car just goes!

TEHSTIG you kick ass! Cross-country in an atom

Can you comment on the suspension and handling? Did you track your S2000? Years ago people were saying that the atom was twitchy with a tendency to snap-oversteer. How compliant is the suspension on regular bumpy streets?

You, sir, are a legit bad ass driving the Atom back from the factory. I'm only a wee bit envious.

How is it on consumables (tires/brakes) at track days?

You're literally living my dream. I've also fallen in love with this car since top gear, and would choose this car over anything in its price range.

Did you register your Atom as a kit car? Did they give you plates or do you just ride around without one?

Awesome story. And it mimics so many motorcyclist stories I've read over the years. As an avid sportbike rider, helmet driving is good isn't it? You see all sorts of shit you don't see in a normal cage.
