Hmm, machines that still looks contemporary despite their age..

92-99 Lexus SC300/400
94+ Toyota Supra
FD RX-7
91-95 Toyota MR-2
BMW 8 Series
Acura NSX

I just noticed, maybe alot of these cars could pass as contemporary because no newer model or redesigned versions of these cars have come out since they were all discontinued? Just a thought.

To me, the 911 of the previous generation looks dated because of the facelifted current version. There are few exceptions such as the MR2 and the SC.

That's probably at least somewhat accurate. The SC's were updated but aren't really the same car IMO despite the vast similarities. The Supra, NSX, and FD's were basically one off's. The MR-S is a totally different idea despite the similarities [ground up open chassis for lower cost].

AP1's would still look more or less like new cars if not for the AP2.
