Anyways, I tend to stay away from Rosslyn/Arlington. Don't enjoy those places too much, but I don't mind DC (dupont is kinda kewl...no homo). I am generally in the hoity-toity areas (reston, fairfax, tysons), since that is where I grew up. I'm up for hookers and blow anytime as long as they are asian or latina, haha.
First time I've heard Reston or Tysons called hoity-toity compared to Arlington.

Still, I wish I had that Maserati.

And funny line about underwater welding!

Congrats on the purchase. I was about to pull the trigger on an M Coupe almost exactly identical to yours... Instead, I got a 04 Mystic Blue E46 M3 Coupe instead. Maybe I'll see you around the Tyson/Fairfax/Reston area as I live and frequent that area alot too.

On a separate note, I completely know how it feels like to have people judge as I work in IT also and people always keep asking me "what do you do for a living?". Around the DC/VA/MD area, you make big $$$.

Hey troll, I'm wondering why you didn't opt for the Cayman/Boxster S.

Did you just call him a troll?

I'm surprised the universe didn't collapse into a singularity of irony.

In the first post, he called himself a troll. I'm just going by what he said (and sarcastically at that).

Moreover, it's much better being a troll than an arrogant a-hole, like ...AG.

I know a guy with an E86 M Roadster. Says the E46 M3 enthusiast crowd gives M roadster/coupe owners shit even though their cars are faster. Not sure if this is true or not. Just regurgitating information.
Who cares what a bunch of douchebags think? If you own an M3 and give shit to anyone for not owning one, you are a douchebag. That's the definition I found at oed.com, anyway.
