Dodge Demon
I see S2000/Z4/Audi TT/1st gen corvette/viper...it's really a melting pot.
Sadly, with a little refinement...I think it has potential.
I just read what I wrote, and perhaps I should take out the word "little" before refinement.

The flat dash and the gauges leave a distinctly 'retro' feel with me... Looks fairly uncluttered and utilitarian though, I kind of like it
if they also pull a Neon srt-4 on it and offer lots of power for a very reasonable price, I can see how this could be a great little car.

For one thing, the SRT-6 was a $50000 Chrysler. Now, we should all be brand-agnostic and just pay attention to a car's merits, but we're not, and I doubt many people looking at a choice between a Boxster S or an SLK cross-shopped the SRT-6.
I was actually tempted. A 330hp supercharged V6 car with 'decent' looks, brakes, and handling for low $30s...not shabby.
With a curb weight of 2600 lbs and 300 hp with the potential for a lot more because it's a turbo, this car should be very entertaining and sell well for Dodge. Even though the interior is butt ugly!!!
Whether you hate it or love it, one thing is for sure...it is great to see automakers focusing on this segment. I'm a sports car nut and can appreciate just about any car. I hope it gets built. More options is good for the consumer.

I'd say 2600lbs is a bit on the optimistic side. It's just an estimated number that more or less is taken from it being "slightly larger" than an MX-5. Solstices and Skys are tipping 3000lbs and they are only "slightly larger" than an S2k.
