Default E92 335i True Weight!

Not sure if this was posted but someone on the e90 forum weighted their car and came up with 3360. Thats 200 lbs lighter than BMW's advertised weight! Seems they underestimate horsepower and overestimate weight, maybe they were quoting weight with a 200lb driver? I never thought mine felt much heavier to toss around than my C6,now I know why.

Good to know. For the thread it seems BMW calculates weight by doing the weight of the car + weight of the avg drive + weight of 25lb of luggage to get the 35xx number.

You'll have to post up impressions after you take delivery!

I love that they're offering light-weight, but full power again!

Thats what I thought. When I picked up my 335 coupe from the performance center after tracking some of the 4 door 335's, it didn't feel like a 3600 pound car. I can tell its heavier than my old S but it felt lighter than my X3 and my buds Audi S4.
FYI...the 335 coupe and sedan are about 40 lbs. apart in weight, not really noticable.
