How long is the stock t-25 good for.(About how many miles before replacement)
I know there are many factors that can affect the life of a turbo, but on average how long?

I got a friend who runs 12's in his GST eclipse, roaming on that forum. Name is DSM

 

It really depends on the mods you do. For example, if you get a downpipe to replace the cat, most likely you'll get mad boost creep, and severly limit the life of that small turbo. Also if you take out the those honeycomb air flow stabilizers by the throttle body, you'll also mess up the turbo. Read up on this month's Sport Compact Car. It has everything regarding the 4G63 motor.

Mine lasted about 800 miles before it needed to be replaced with a much bigger one. It all depends on how well you take care of it... should be good for alot of miles if you're good about maintenance.
