Default Emissions testing on standalone ECU

Has anyone been able to pass emissions on a Haltech ECU? If so, how do you go about it? If not, what are the options?

Pretty sure no aftermarket ECU sends readiness codes (let alone checks for them). So, your options are:
1. Swap out the ECU and harness to the OEM --> smog --> swap everything back over.
2. Register your car in a county/state that doesn't require smog check.
3. Find someone to illegally smog your car. Best place to ask... Facebook, because morons love to ask for hot smogs all the time on that.

good luck.

I don't think this has an OBD2 port -- where emissions readiness codes are measured -- and an ECU without a ODB2 port is unlikely to pass any emissions testing anywhere I've lived.
IMPORTANT EMISSIONS NOTICE:
In many states, it is unlawful to tamper with your vehicle's emissions equipment. Haltech products are designed and sold for sanctioned off-road/competition non-emissions controlled vehicles only and may never be used on a public road or highway. Using Haltech products for street/road use on public roads or highways is prohibited by law unless a specific regulatory exemption exists (more information can be found on the SEMA Action Network website www.semasan.com/emissions for state by state details in the USA). It is the responsibility of the installer and/or user of this product to ensure compliance with all applicable local and federal laws and regulations. Please check with your local vehicle authority before purchasing, using or installing any Haltech product.
Put it back to stock. Test it. Revert.

I do a smog test every other year and swap my OEM ECU and aftermarket ECU. Just an extra few minutes before and after.
