Ya, nice run-down of past and present oddities. BTW, WTF is it with the fascination of taking your land vehicle into water? Amphicar started what has to be the nerdiest niche of car enthusiasm ever.
That said, the CLEVER is cool, and the PowerSki Jetboard seems very marketable. Some of those I wouldn't consider oddities though. Some are just flat-out custom-built tuners, like the Tank Rod, and some are just blatantly not feasible, like the Spruce Goose.
