Default EVO iX

wow, i think i am in love. i cant wait for the RS version to come out. i think the new front bumper on this car looks stunning and it looks awesome in the electric blue. cant wait to see the modding potential of the new MIVEC 4g63.

i have a 2003 evo... .been a good car so far... 18k miles now... unless i got a really great deal I don't see much difference to justify the name change.

I think I actually dislike the front look compared to mine. I do like that dark blue though. (i think it started in 2005 though).

the IX only has a handfull more HP than the VIII..... you can get used 2003 evo VIII's for about $22-23k if you look around.... they come with 5 year, 60k powertrain warranty (assuming the car hasn't been modified too much).

I really don't like the new bumper, but that blue is a nice color. I can't wait until the Evo X comes out, that should be an exciting car.

Save some money, get a used one. Then mod it. 10 HP gain.

Steve, why wouldn't it leave any holes? Any wing that is not glued on would have holes to utilize screws and bolts.

Back to the Evo IX, it's one heck of a performance machine, but why oh why must it be so not my style? Granted the rear is improved over the clear lights of the VIII, but still, the overall style just puts me off.

for $325 delivered, i bougt some MR JDM taillights, so i solved that problem soon after I bought the car.

o ya... and some wings could in theory mount from underneath somewhere that would be seen from outside the car.????
