try posting this on the EVO boards, most s2k owners will be biased towards the s2k since its an s2k board. there are lots of owners who switched from s2ks to EVOs on there to.
Most boards are like that.

It really an apples and oranges comparison. I have an Evo and I'm thinking about getting a S2000 just because it's different. It's like you've done one thing an you want to move on to something else

apples to oranges is pretty much right.

what do you want in a car?

4 door, 5 seater, all wheel drive, practicality and trubo power?

or 2 door, 2 seater, convertible, light, high-revving fun?

they really cant be more different, and its not a matter of which is better than the other, but which fits your own personal needs and wants better.

I thought about but no way in #@!@# would I buy a first year mitsu EVO and with mitsu normal ship times I would say fall of 08 when they c ome out. so 2009 would be the best and who knows what will be out then.

The new EVO just doesnt excite me yet, I relaly doubt you can greatly improve the mod for mod bang of the EVO IX and the famous engine...also not rally tested yet and looks like a neon compared to a rally car b ut time will tell if its worth the hype or bust.

I just have a feeling EVO IX will be a classic.

I definitely holding a "wait and see " attitude but so far things sounds pretty good. If I don't like the X than I can always get a IX but I don't want to get a IX and then sell it in a year.

I wouldn't buy another Evo until the fall at the earliest anyway. So fall of '06 to spring of '08. I guess a year and a half.
