That was fast! 350z Deflated
I agree that this thread has taken a turn for the worst, but it started out promising
I think the 350Z will become very similar to the IS300. Same ballpark price, both have great visual appeal and aftermarket mods will be readily available. I figure them to go through a very similar progression. This next year I bet we see one in every import magazine we read. The difference between our car and the 350Z is it's rarity whether that's a good thing or not. Because they aren't everywhere, we feel special, but it also means we pay more for parts. Personally, I don't think there is anything wrong with a riced out civic
I enjoy working on cars and the reason so many ppl go with a civic as project cars is PRICE and the support available from tuners. I think the 350Z will also fill a niche. We all know what the 40-50k sports cars used to be, Nissan is just starting that niche back up. Next year we'll be able to say the same thing about the RX-8 and who knows what toyota will be developing here with the success of the 350Z
(*crossing fingers for Supra comback*)
Just my thoughts,
Rice
P.S. Yes the G35 is the Skyline, however, what everyone wants to be brought over is the Skyline GTR

Correct me if I am wrong.

Actually, the G35 is the Skyline sedan in Japan. The GTR hasn't made it over yet. The I35 is based off of the Maxima platform. It's the same car as the I30, just with their 3.5 liter engine in it. I had an I35 and it's a great car. Has good power, fairly comfortable and for the money, you get tons of plushness. I wasn't crazy about the G35 Infiniti let me borrow, but that's just me. It doesn't come with as many standard option and the layout is a little bit wierd for me.
