Default first bike

In in the market for a kawi green 05-06 ninja 636. But.....

I found one for 4800, looks mint. Owner said not one scratch. Never droped and was his daily driver.
bad thing about it is that the bike has 20xxx.

Should that be a concern. This will be my daily for college.

If it's a DR for college, you may want to look at something with a little more storage than a Ninja. (just thinking practicality)

Why do you guys with no experience riding insist on getting crotch rockets for a first bike?

i dont think the 636 is a good idea as a first bike. u might be ok tho. plus if u lay it down, u'll feel like crap and look like a chump.

side note, i think the 636 is one of better sportbikes out there. rode my friend's 05 the other day. damn that thing is fast.
