Few of my friends with Volvo's have a lot of electrical issues.

Good to know. Model/Year?

I'd consider a Saab, but my opinion of them is that they are very nice cars, until they break down. And that could very well be monthly.

Thanks! I searched high and low for a replacement, and aside from an S2000 which I can no longer have due to space requirements, this is the ONLY thing I could find that I liked as much as that Fit:

You can get a nice 4 cyl accord for what some optioned civics are going for. They have better long term resale as well, and IMO look 2-3x better.
