Cliffs: Turbo and z06 beat the GTR in a straight line. GTR smokes both on the track. Z06 loses to turbo on the track(

Interesting. Except, get ready for a dozen people to say the Z06 should have beat both even if they were driven by Jesus...
I'm interested to see what the GT2 does on some tracks, regardless of its higher price.

Not making excuses for the z06, just astounded. In the C&D lightning lap, and every other track test I've ever seen, it's obliterated the turbo, by about the same margin that the GTR beat the turbo by.

Interestingly enough, the US GTR seems to be down about 60hp from the Japanese version.
Based on the ET and trap-speed, it seems to be in the 465-480 HP range, slightly OVER-rated... very strange.

Chevy.com says the Z06 starts at $72,125, not $79,595 like the article says. wtf??
123.7 mph trap speed? what is it an LS3 vette their testing

7.2mph FASTER trap than the GTR. i just want to see the youtube vids of Z's knocking off richie rich fanboi's GTR.
now that i got the GTR hate out of the way,
thats an impressive test. all the techo-gizmo's on the GTR are really shining on the track. its amazing that they can get a 4000lbs porker around a track that fast.

Seriously to the Z06 fans... how many more tests do you want? Same driver... same track... same day... the Z06 got beat.
The z06 is my favorite current vehicle that I can realistically obtain in the near future... but making excuses for it losing is just stupid.
