i don't want to put mine on...i got my plates but i still have my temp plate on while i debate whether to do it or not. i've already had a cop u-turn after seeing my lack of a plate, then u-turn right after he saw i have a temp tag in back.

Do what I do with my TSX:

1. Mount your front plate on the supplied bracket (bracket not attached to car).
2. Stomp on bracket until part of it breaks (may need to use tools for S2000 bracket, TSX is plastic).
3. Place broken bracket in trunk.
4. If pulled over/questioned by cops, show them broken bracket, explain part is on backorder at dealer.

I've only had to do it once, but it worked that one time

Good idea Chris! I have a feeling whatever state I decide to move to next will probably require the front plate as well knowing my luck
It really does ruin the looks of the front end.

Ohio requires them, but for my S2000's I just take the license plates up to my house in Michigan and leave them there. Michigan does not require them, so if I am ever pulled over I just tell the cop that I was living up there and took it off and accidentally forgot to put it back on (which isn't a complete lie), and that has actually worked!

With vanity plates, 1 is for the rear of your car, the other is for mounting on your wall.

Spend more time thinking about school and less time thinking about the car.
