Well, it looks like the Accord coupe, but if its rwd, then its better!

I wonder if this means a convertible will follow...

2866 lb. isn't too too bad these days. Pretty much what I've been waiting for, a rwd 2+2 coupe with decent power and at much less than 3000 lb. weight.

Hopefully Nissan will jump in with a new 240SX, too.

I surely hope this spurs a RWD sports car revival. I'll be buying one for sure if it's done right.

is this the "ae86-esque" car that toyota/subaru were talking about months ago? if so, didn't they say it was supposed to be around 1200 kg?

once brought to america, this thing will be over 2900 lbs...

So what makes anyone believe that Subaru would undercut sales of its own WRX with a lighter, cheaper, faster model?

Toyota is the one missing a sports car, but they are so conservative in the NA market, I doubt they would try anything shocking.

Looks nice but will have to see what the gas mileage is like. By the time it comes out gas could be flippin' insane to the max.

That story sounds bizzare and suspect. Subaru's whole brand identity in the US for the last 15 years is the "all-our-cars-are-AWD" company.

It would make no sense for them to offer a RWD car, much less a sporty RWD that would embarass its AWD cars in performance (except the STi).
