The future of Subaru...

Word except for the less complicated part as they are basically a V engine with two cylinder heads but sits completely flat. I tripped out when I saw my first disassembled ej, it really sparked my curiousity like the rotaries. They do have the benefits of sitting a lot lower but as mentioned sits very wide. I'd say the backyarder the I4 is probably the more user friendly way to go, but where else can you find a 4 banger that sounds like it friggin means dirty, condomless business. Have you heard a modded WRX/STI vs. an EVO?
Some only refer to flat/horizontally opposed/180deg V engines as "boxers" if opposing pistons are on 180deg opposed crank throws, such that they are both at BDC at the same time and both at TDC at the same time.
It seems to me that flat engines in which opposing pistons share a crank throw such that when one is at BDC the other is at TDC should still be considered "boxers" (and many enthusiasts/aficionados do so), as boxing doesn't require combatants to rare back and throw punches at each other in unison!
Calling both versions "boxers" to me is much more useful than calling the latter "180deg V" engines and insisting that they are not "true" boxers.
But whatever...

Name one "roadster" that is lighter than the S2000 under $50,000 besides a Miata and the outgoing MR2 sold in the states.

I thought AWD is one of the things that "makes a Subaru a Subaru"...

The JGTC Subaru is RWD.
This sounds strange to me. Why would they badge this as a subaru? Toyota are the ones who need a sports car. I can understand Subaru and Toyota making a joint car mainly due to the fact that Toyota lacks a performance engine. I think this probably won't happen. I really want Toyota to come back and make fun cars like the first generation Celicas, Supras, and Corollas but this seems kind of farfetched to me.
