Default G35 coupe 03-04

I've noticed prices on g35 coupes getting cheaper and am thinking of picking one up as a DD.

Anyone have advice or input?

Anything to look for or be worried about>

I'm considering auto or stick doesn't matter to me but does the auto tranny have any issues?

Hate these cars. Shitty gas mileage (SUV status), not much faster than a Civic Si and every douche has one. They're comfy but that's about it. I'm going to vote for TSX/TL as a DD. Just as much (if not more comfy), higher quality, and far more economical (expect +10 MPG out of the TSX vs a G35, and 3-5+ MPG with a TL.)

My sister had a 6 speed, I thought it was nice enough. It did really have that Nissan feel to it which I don't really care for, it reminded me of all my parents Maximas they had. At the time I had an older V8 BMW 5 series so maybe I was a little jaded, now I have a 2006 Acura TL as my rain car, which doesn't drive as nice as the BMW, but it is much more reliable the gas mileage is pretty good. My GF drives a new big supercharged Range Rover and she likes the Acura, so I guess it is ok.

my buddy has a '05 350z and the interior is sooo shotty. I've ridden in the G sedans and its the same. Hard plastic that rattles and just looks cheap. The VQ motor is a good base for some tuning but as a DD too much gas.

Have you driven it? It is not as fun to drive as it looks. Feels heavy, lethargic. It is comfortable, give it that, but not fun, poor mileage, and so much sound deading material that you can't hear the exhaust.

I was so dissappointed in the car...You should look at the 350z Touring...same crappy gas mileage, way more fun to drive.

Don't get one unless it's an 08+. The MPG/fit and finish is much better. Probably won't be cheap though.

How does the TSX fare against the Civic Si?

Oh that's right, they're slow as hell

^LOL. I agree.

If you want a RWD GT car, it's a good fit.
