Thumbs up Genuine Competitors to the S2000?

I recently purchased a new '05 S2K. I love it. I had a 2005 Infiniti G35 before, but someone totaled it (you guys want me to post pics?) so I got the S2K. I'm curious, what do you guys think are competing cars? What would you put in the same class as the S2K? I was looking at the '07-'08 Skyline GTR (under Infiniti badge) and then saw the rumored price......60-80K!!!! That's a ton of money.....in 3 years when my lease is up on the S2K, what would you guys suggest replacing it with? I'd like to move up a notch from the S2K, but things like the M3/M roadster, Audi S4, Infiniti GTR, NSX, etc are wayyy out of my price range. Any thoughts ??

I agree.....I don't think an F430 would have any trouble lapping the S2K about 100 times around a track!

The Vette, however...... they keep trying, but can't seem to get it!

Vette or M3/RS4/Skyline/EVO etc.....hmmm, what would you take hahaha!

The M5, of course, is a god among 4-doors.

Get a new Boxster S to upgrade over the S2k when your lease is up. Plus, it's a beautiful Porsche. That's a significant step up.
A Corvette would be, too.
I think the 350Z is getting a bump in power.

Smaller steps up are, from numbers, since we don't know for ourselves yet:
Pontiac Solstice GXP
Saturn Sky Redline

Why are you already planning to replace it? Maybe you'll decide to keep it long after the lease is up. I have no intention of giving mine up after the lease, but if I did, I'd be looking for an NSX.

The new 350z is actually slower than before... Lost too much torque

And I wasn't sure, but are you implying that a solsctice or sky is step up from the s2k?? Even there "special" versions wouldn't be a step up even they are faster, I doubt they will be, but if they are I would still think going to one of those is a huge step down... How could you consider a gm product quality as a step up???
